So... Here's the Plan.
The Whistler Project is a collection of short-form, hand-written interviews and photographic portraits being compiled by local realtor and media producer David Lewis.
The plan is to incorporate roughly 50 of these interviews and portraits into a coffee table book, which will serve as both an informational and visual cross-section of Whistler as it exists in 2017... Think 'Whistler Yearbook', without the lame quotes.
Participants will be asked to fill out a one-page group of sentence-starters, which all offer an extremely open-ended interpretation. Each page will be filled out in ink, by hand, and participants will be encouraged to treat the page as their canvas - to customize and personalize by which ever means they feel appropriate... [Or inappropriate!]
The variation in responses to the same questions will be the cornerstone of the content, representing diversity within the commonality of our town. The format of the book will display a portrait of each participant along with an actual image of their hand-written ‘interview’ page on opposing sides of each 2-page spread.
The subjects will consist of a broad spectrum of Whistler residents ranging from public figures, to students, to pro-athletes, to local artists, and most points in between.
The mission of the project is to celebrate the human condition that exists in our town and to demonstrate the diversity that exists within our population. Once compiled, the first edition of The Whistler Project will be printed in hard cover format and sold to raise funds for charity.
This will be the first annual edition, with a new charity chosen each year as the beneficiary.

The first run will launch mid-November 2017.
Thank you in advance for your interest and support!
